bhoramdeo temple:
this temple is known as "khajuraho of chattisgarh" and famous for its captivating11th century lord shiva temple complex. the curves and the angular projections of the temple here represent structures depicting the local style of architecture, a fusion of the retreating 'mountain-range' style found in the khajuraho temples. located 134 kms from the hotel.

kanha tiger reserve:
when it comes to tiger parks, kanha is the most famousone in india where you can really go deep into the forest, and you have a complete safari experience. there are two safari slots each day: morning (roughly 6am to 11am) and afternoon (roughly 3pm to 6pm). open for visitors from 15th oct till 30th june every year, kanha is located 260 kms from the hotel.

mahantghasidas memorial museum:
the museum was set up raja mahantghasidas, the ruler of rajnandgaon in 1875. this was soon after lord cunningham of the indian archaeological service discovered the ruins of sirpur and other sites around in 1872. the museum has an astounding collection of sculptures, pottery, as well as etchings in stone and metal.the museum is located 4 kms from the hotel. it is open on all days from 10 a.m to 5 p.m except mondays and public holidays.

kondagaon is the hub of various handicrafts, renowned over the world as bastarhandicrafts.the bell metal craft practiced by most of the craftsmen in the town and the adjacent villages is a widely acclaimed style of almost extinct wax form of sculpting art.a couple of hillocks that skirts the eastern outskirts of the town is being revamped as a tourist park by the forest department of the town. the park would host relocated common wild animals and fowls of the bastar region. located 210 kms from the hotel.

laxman temple, sirpur: :
a possible day trip from raipur, sirpur is home to dozens of ruined hindu temples and buddhist monasteries, all dotted around the village and surrounding countryside. many of the excavation are work in progress. all are free to see apart from the star of the show, the 7th-century laxman temple, one of the oldest brick temples in india. located 83 kms from the hotel.

a pilgrimage centre for followers of vaishnavism (a major tradition of hindu religion) from ancient times, it is located 49 kms from the hotel. rajim is also a known shaiva dharma centre. the religious congregation at rajim performs a ceremony known as the 'fifth kumbh' which is similar to the traditional 'punnimela' observed every year at the famous rajiv lochan temple located near the holy confluence of themahanadi, pairi and sondur rivers. the rajim kumbh is celebrated in february-march every year for about 15 days.
