GENERAL
1)Program Sponsor
THE Park Preferred membership and its benefits are offered at the sole discretion of Apeejay Surrendra Park Hotels - ASPHL. "TPP" or "Program" refers to the loyalty membership rewards or benefits program ‘THE Park Preferred” as offered by ASPHL.
"Member" shall mean an individual who has been enrolled as a member for THE Park Preferred program. ASPHL refers to THE Park Hotels, THE Park Collection, Zone by The Park, Zone Connect by The Park & Stop by Zone.

2) Jurisdiction
- THE Park Preferred Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Republic of India and will be restricted to Delhi jurisdiction under the Delhi High Court. The Program terms and conditions set forth herein supersede all prior program terms and conditions, if any.
- All interpretations of the Terms and Conditions and Program rules shall be at the sole discretion of Apeejay Surrendra Park Hotels.
3) Eligibility
Membership is open to all individuals above 18 years of age; such individuals will hereafter be referred to as "Members" of the Program, or THE Park Preferred Members". Corporations, groups and other entities are not eligible. Members may not maintain more than one account or share accounts. Enrolment into THE Park Preferred Program must be in the individual’s full legal name, and proof of identification will need to be provided on request. Apeejay Surrendra Park Hotels reserves the right to grant or refuse membership of THE Park Preferred Program.
4) Enrolment and Membership
- Enrolment to the Program is possible during the stay at the hotel at www.theparkhotels.com and www.zonebythepark.com
- When enrolled at the hotel, membership to the Program will be activated only when the activation link sent via e- mail to the given email address is clicked & verified. The member will not be able to avail of the Program benefits if the membership is not activated. Apeejay Surrendra Park Hotels reserves the right to terminate memberships that have not been activated for more than 6 months. Upon such termination, all accrued points (if any) will lapse from the terminated account.
- Any change of information as provided in the THE Park Preferred enrolment form must be notified to THE Park Preferred Program centre in writing or be updated online on the Program website.
- All communication will be emailed to the address mentioned in the enrolment form and it is the responsibility of the member to inform the THE Park Preferred Program about any change in his/her address. All communication will be deemed to have been received by the member and THE Park Hotels bear no responsibility for communication not received or lost in the mail.
- As part of our endeavour to provide valuable information and offers to members, THE Park Preferred Program would develop mailing lists for use by themselves and their Program partners. These lists are developed under strict supervision so as to safeguard the privacy of the member’s information. As part of providing value added product offerings to members, Apeejay Surrendra Park Hotels reserves the right to send special offers/promotions to the members regarding THE Park Hotels or its Program partners.
5) Participating Hotels for THE Park Preferred
"Participating Hotels" are defined as hotels which are participating for the Program: 1) THE Park Bangalore 2) THE Park Chennai 3) THE Park Hyderabad 4) THE Park Indore 5) THE Park Kolkata 6) THE Park New Delhi 7) THE Park Navi Mumbai 8) THE Park Vishakhapatnam 9) Zone by The Park Kolkata 10) Zone by The Park Digha 11) Zone Connect by The Park, Saket, Delhi
6) Eligible charges
Eligible charges are the monetary amounts (exclusive of taxes, discounts, gratuities and service charges) spent & settle by THE Park Preferred member while staying at the participating hotels, it is applicable for his/her folio or bill for up to a maximum of three (3) rooms at participating THE Park Hotels towards: room charges, food and beverages (at restaurants, room service and mini-bars), telecommunication, laundry & spa. They do not include: (1) Room charges that are included in the definition of ineligible rates (2) Charges for banquets, meetings, weddings and other similar functions (3) Rooms booked as office space (4) and business centre services (5) Complimentary services.
7) Ineligible rates
1)Charges not eligible for earning points where booking is made via any online booking channels 2) Room rates that are booked, or booked and paid, via tour operators, wholesalers and travel agents on their contracted rates or any other travel-industry staff rates. (3) Room rates for group bookings, conferences, weddings, events or organized tours (4) Room rates for airline staff and crew where rooms are pre-booked and paid for by the airline or directly (5) Employee rates or any complimentary rooms.
8) Redemption Options
THE Park Preferred points can be redeemed for:
- Complimentary & discounted stay, more particularly described in Sections III,
- the various forms of food & beverage offer and other certificate more particularly described in Sections III
9) Point Expiration
THE Park Preferred points are: (a) non-transferable, (b) valid for lifetime if member have at least 1 eligible room night stay at any participating hotel in a rolling 12-month period (c) Points do not possess any monetary value, and d) only awarded after check-out and settle by THE Park Preferred member while staying.
10) Value and Non – transferability of Points
THE Park Preferred points in a members account do not constitute property of the member, have no cash value, and cannot be transferred during or after the member's life, by operation of law or otherwise.
11) Points Cancellation
All accrued points in members “THE Park Preferred” account may be cancelled or forfeited if the member has no account activity for a period of rolling 12 months.
12) Point Balance and Earning History Information
Apeejay Surrendra Park Hotels, at its option, may send to members periodic statements by mail or electronically. Members may access THE Park Preferred point balance and earning history at any time online or by calling THE Park Preferred member help desk at the applicable number provided in section I(1) of these terms and conditions.
13) Fraud
Apeejay Surrendra Park Hotels reserves the right to suspend or discontinue THE Park Preferred membership, for any member who appears to be engaged in any fraudulent or dishonest behaviour, theft, misconduct or wrongdoing whether it be physical, verbal or written in nature, towards any hotel within the Apeejay Surrendra Park Hotels portfolio or their guests or employees, or towards Apeejay Surrendra Park Hotels any of its employees or contractors.
14) Points amendment
In the event that THE Park Preferred points is erroneously posted to a member’s account, THE Park Hotels may adjust those points from the member’s account.
15) Membership Database / How to Unsubscribe
The personal information you provide is maintained in a database (the "Membership Database") that is owned and/or controlled by THE Park Hotels, a wholly owned subsidiary of Apeejay Surrendra Park Hotels. By joining the Program, you are consenting to the collection, processing of your personal information as described in our privacy notice.
You may unsubscribe from receiving THE Park Preferred communications at any time by following the process described in our privacy notice, or by:
- Logging in to your Park Preferred account and updating your preferences; or
- Calling Member Help Desk at + 91 22 – 6636 4427 / 4351.

16) Program Changes
Apeejay Surrendra Park Hotels may modify, alter, delete or add new terms and conditions for its Program at any time without notice. For THE Park Preferred this includes modifying, altering, adding or deleting point values, redemption levels, conversion ratios, conditions for membership in the membership levels, earning participants or rewards participants (as defined below) to THE Park Preferred Program at any time without notice. In addition, Apeejay Surrendra Park Hotels may convert THE Park Preferred Program and members' points into different awards Programs having different point values at any time without notice. This means, in the case of THE Park Preferred that the number of points needed to reach a reward level may be increased, the time for earning them reduced, or the rewards changed, so you may not be able to obtain, earn or claim certain rewards no matter how long you participate in THE Park Preferred. 17) Program Termination
Apeejay Surrendra Park Hotels, may terminate the Program at any time upon three months’ notice, without further obligation to the member regardless of the amount of time you participate in the Program, you right to accumulate additional THE Park Preferred points or the other Program currency and claim rewards under the Program may be terminated and all accrued THE Park Preferred points in your account need to be redeemed within one year of the termination of the Program is announced.
EARNING
1) Points Earning
- Members can earn THE Park Preferred points through qualified stays at participating properties (as defined in Section I(5) above.
- Members are encouraged to provide THE Park Preferred membership number whenever booking in order to ensure the accrual of Park Preferred points.
- THE Park Preferred points will usually be posted to a member's account within 24 hours after check-out and when settle by THE Park Preferred member.
- For any differences in posting of points into a member's account, member must log-in to his/her THE Park Preferred account and claim or call The Park Preferred Member Help Desk for assistance within 1 months of the earning activity for point crediting. For points member is required to provide his/her membership number, dates of applicable stay, name and address of the participating property, and a copy of his/her bill. Once it is verified points will be credited accordingly.
- Conference and group bookings are not eligible for point earning, even if a member settles his/her own bill for room and/or incidental charges.
- All applicable taxes including GST and service charges will not be calculated for point accrual.
- A member is eligible to earn THE Park Preferred points for up to three (3) rooms per night. To ensure that multiple room stays are processed properly, the participating property should be notified of any request to earn for additional rooms at the time of check-in. If two or more THE Park Preferred members share a guestroom, only the paying member will be awarded THE Park Preferred points, as applicable.
- As a member you earn Preferred Points when you stay with us, when you dine* or use our SPA at any of our participating hotels (THE Park Hotels) Your Preferred points can be used for free nights or relish them for meal. (Member earns points on food, Spa & other facility only while staying at THE Park Hotels)
- For every qualified stay which is exclusive of taxes, discounts, paid outs, gratuities and service charges, member earns 3% of Preferred Points on room rate, including dining & Spa, the higher the membership tier, the more preferred points you earn more points and unlock new member tier and get additional member benefits. Earn 4% Preferred points on reaching PLATINUM Tier and 5% Preferred Points once you reach BLACK tier.
Redeeming
1) Points Redeeming
- Use your preferred points one of your payment options to book your stay in participating hotels, which means you can book more and earn more.
- Preferred points can be redeemed via the member website only, 1 Preferred Point = INR 1 for redemption. www.theparkhotels.com or www.zonebythepark.com
- Blackout dates are applicable for reward stay (room) redemptions.
- Points required for room stays will be calculated dynamically based on the best available rate and it will be rounded up to the nearest whole number.
- Redeemed rewards once issued will not be changed and the member will not be entitled to any refund or credit for the points redeemed.
- Stay points once booked cannot be modified - dates or destinations - without forfeiting the redeemed points.
- Points cannot be exchanged for cash, points or any other form of goods or services except for the indicated redemption voucher.
Membership Levels / Tiers
1) General
The Program offers three tiers: Gold, Platinum, Black. Qualification for new tier is based on the member’s activity (points earned) over the course of 12-month period of him/her becoming a member.

2) Tier Upgrade and Down Grade
- For every INR 100 spent during qualified stay, at GOLD Tier
member earns 3 Preferred Points on room rate,
dining & Spa. The higher the membership tier, member earn
more Preferred Points and unlock additional
member benefits. For every INR 100 spent member is entitled for
4 Preferred Points at PLATINUM Tier and
5 Preferred Points at BLACK tier
POINTS EARNING ON EVERY INR 100 SPENT MEMBERSHIP TIER Amount spent INR 100 % of Pointsearned GOLD 3 Points 3.0% PLATINUM 4 Points 4.0% BLACK 5 Points 5.0% - Members who achieve 6,000 Preferred Points in a continuous 365-day period gets upgraded to the Platinum tier. In order to retain his or her membership at the Platinum tier member will have to earn 6,000 Preferred Points in every subsequent 12-month period of him/her becoming a member. In case this is not achieved the individual's membership status will be downgraded to the Gold tier. The Platinum tier status is valid for a period of 1 year from the date of upgrade.
- Members who have earned 18,000 Preferred Points in a continuous
365-day period get upgraded to the
Black tier. In order to retain his or her membership at the
Black tier of THE Park Preferred the member will
have to earn 18,000 Preferred Points in every subsequent
12-month period of him/her becoming a member.
In case this is not achieved the individual's membership
status will be downgraded to the Platinum tier. The
Black tier status is valid for a period of 1 year from the date
of upgrade.
